YouTube Increases Censorship
Remember when YouTube was free? And didn’t have ads? And didn’t censor anything?
YouTube has announced that it will start removing videos that refer to the widespread election fraud that has occurred in the United States. In the same note, they want users to specifically obtain their news from corporations only. Somehow, I don’t think NTD will be considered a reliable corporation. But then, maybe they will, nobody outside of the Southeast Asia demographic seems to even know NTD exists, or that it has been very closely following the election hijinx. To be fair, I didn’t know OAN was a thing until CNN told me about it.
Even if you don’t have any first-hand, or even second or third-hand exposure to all the shenanigans that have been going down (Like angry black women screaming at white people for being white…wait, that isn’t specific to this event lol), do you really want YouTube deciding for you what is or is not content that you should see? Your favorite “voter fraud debunked 2 months before it happened” video(s) won’t be there, either, so, yeah.
This slippery slope YouTube started down (now it’s more like a sheer cliff-face) isn’t even the worst part - They’re still letting people view musical.ly vines. Real nice moral compass, YouTube. Point is, it’s too late to do anything and it’s futile to hope that YouTube will ever return to its former glory. I think it’s time to make the change.
Nebula. You may have heard of it. Some of your favorite YouTubers have told you about it. It’s pretty cheap, too, I believe. Less expensive than YouTube Premium in any case.
