Is China Hijacking UNESCO?

YES, CHINA IS HIJACKING EVERYTHING

YES, CHINA IS HIJACKING EVERYTHING

The Great Barrier Reef has been downgraded in status to Endangered by UNESCO. And by UNESCO we really mean by China.

I’m sorry, but before we continue, we must emphasize that China is literally trying to hijack everything. Xi Jinping’s CCP is literally seeking world domination. They aren’t quiet or secretive about this.

As you know, early on after the release of the Covid-19 variant, it was deemed socially uncouth to even suggest the possibility that it was an engineered virus. God forbid I get my posts downvoted on Facebook. But as the world cowered in fear of being called “racist” if they were to call China out on what was already glaringly obvious, Australia wanted proof that it wasn’t a global bio-attack. Fast forward to July 2021, and now the “official” narrative is that Covid-19 was a deliberately engineered weapon. Plot twist, America funded it!

TLDR
China is mad at Australia

What does the Great Barrier Reef have to do with this? The Reef is a massively significant part of Australia’s economy. Having it protected by UNESCO as endangered means no fishing, no tourism, no mineral exploration…even marine biologists and nature documenters would need to apply for special permissions to conduct research. This isn’t China just boycotting Australian wine. This is China forcing the world to boycott the only part of Australia you can visit and not have to worry about wolf spiders or drop bears.

Some of you are wondering or asking a question. The relationship between China and UNESCO is that China has basically bought control of the organization. Not unlike the WHO. Not total control, again like the WHO, but significant enough influence that they can essentially force an outcome unliterally. This is a big part of what China does just in general.

For you Yankees, imagine if UNESCO determined that the Statue of Liberty was an endangered site that needed to be protected. You would no longer be allowed to visit and appreciate the Statue. NYC would lose out on many tourist dollars, including from all the Chinese tourists that visit.

The greater issue here, beyond China’s Unrestricted Warfare, is a nation’s sovereignty being trampled on by an international body. Whether or not that body is corrupted (spoiler, it always is), it doesn’t make sense allowing it to turn off a piece of a country’s economy.

UNESCO will most likely end up just going back to the way it was. Apparently this has been an ongoing battle, so it’s not a new thing by any means. Not unlike China hijacking everything.
