Cryptocurrency TLDR
If you’re like me, then you have questions. Or maybe you have answers. Chances are the answers you got are wrong. rockydennispresents.com/betfury provide an easy way for you to start earning passive cryptocurrency income. When you’re doing it big in Costa Rica, remember me and Donate Doge!
Important Information No One Will Tell You (in TLDR format)
1. Bitcoin isn’t going up. The US Dollar is going down.
2. Your money isn’t going to get hacked. N ANANAHFDAHDADHADA STOP TALKING. You aren’t worth enough for anyone to invest the time and energy into stealing your wallet.
3. Pass-phrase protection is literally the exact opposite of protection. Pretty sure whoever came up with that idea just wanted to capitalize on stupid people.
4. 2FA is good. If you don’t know what that is, don’t be afraid. Trust in 2FA.
5. Buy a Ledger or Trezor now before Apple starts making iWallets. That $70 will look pretty nice compared to how many AppleCoins you’ll need in the future. (1 APC = 2 FirstBorn Sons).
6. Baldwin was right, Blockchain is the technology that Bitcoin runs on. That’s true insofar as that’s all you need to know if you’re using eToro to copy trades. But otherwise that’s a terrible explanation.
7. Investing in Cryptocurrency and buying Cryptocurrency are two different things. You invest in Procter and Gamble, you buy toothpaste. No wait, that’s a terrible example.
Open a Coinbase Account. This link, this one here, gives us both free BTC, equivalent to $10 USD. This link, this one instead, gives us free COMP. Mostly just me. You get some for free for doing the tutorial. COMP is really cool. I’m using it to earn 3% interest on USD-C. Otherwise it’d only be .15%. Yes. 3% versus .15%. 300 v 15. (yes, it’s complicated lol)
Just be aware that there is no central reserve bank of Bitcoin, and you aren’t investing into a product. You’re buying a loosely regulated asset (security? not really important here) that has an arbitrary value derived from an arbitrary value. Bitcoin isn’t worth $32,000. Bitcoin is worth 1 Bitcoin. It costs $32,000 if you want to trade fiat for Bitcoin. Tomorrow it’ll be $34,000. Bitcoin is still worth 1 Bitcoin.
Doesn’t really matter. Either do as I do, and avoid a known unknown risk, or educate yourself and then assess the risk/reward in what you want to do.
