Rocky’s Weekly Stock Picks

This week we’re picking ‘em a day early! CLM/CRF are still a good buy, with ex-divs on the 13th. We’re all set at the moment, but they’re a good fallback. Speaking of GOOD… nope, not this week.

  1. RUM - $12.27/share. No dividends yet, but options are trading weekly! Huzzah! We’re buying shares outright. Not only do we expect a substantial increase in share price over the next year, this is also one of our few holdings that is actually holding a gain in market value.

  2. TEI - $4.49/share, $0.045 dividend paid monthly. The distribution has been falling, and will probably go a tad bit lower. We have a few shares of Templeton already, so why not average down?

We’re not too worried about the future. Obviously an emerging markets fund is going to be feeling pain at the moment, but it’s only transitory. wink.

We like to have fun, but joking aside, we are seriously buying a small amount of shares.

  3. PFN - $7.06/share, ex-div 10/12, $0.07+ paid monthly. Potential Future Nonsense is an obvious buy.

PIMCO Income Strategy Fund II is the actual thing. We obviously recommend this based on the one that isn’t real that reminds us of the Office. Not sure why you’d need to look further than that.

We expect the share price to move slowly upwards. PTY, another PIMCO, is also going ex-div on 10/12.

  4. ARR - $4.84 , $0.10 paid monthly, ex-div 10/14. If you don’t have money in REITs yet, this is a great time to start and a great equity to start with.

  5. UEC- $3.99/share, We’re forever bullish on Uranium Energy Corp. There’s things happening that appear positive to our elite monkey test force. Options trade monthly.
