Rocky’s Weekly Stock Picks

This week we thought about going over OTC stocks. But, nah. We’d rather talk about the Northern Dynasty class action lawsuit.

If you’ve been following us since the early days, then you probably bought some NAK. And, more than likely, you were invited to join a class action settlement.

AND if you were really on board, you were selling covered calls and averaged down your basis. Whatever pennies we get per share is basically free money at this point! It’s a shame we missed the boat on the WKHS class action, though….despite having mentioned it before the deadline…. ….

anyway…

  1. NAK - $0.33/share. The gift that keeps on giving! Options trade monthly.

If you aren’t comfortable with long-term holds on mining stocks, this maybe isn’t for you. Frankly, we’ll just be happy to see the share price get back to $0.50, so we can at least write calls. Every once in a while we get a random sale on a $1 strike with a $.10 premium. No fooling! Single-contract transactions can pay off (especially if you have a few dozen across different stocks!).

  2. ATMCW - $0.059/share. These are warrants (trade commission free with TradeStation!), because we don’t feel like risking $10+/share for a SPAC with only a vague profile.

ATMC “intends to focus on business in Asia”, which sounds promising for a boom/bust, but it’s also possibly secretly Chinese….. so, for pennies on the dollar, we could potentially realize exponential gain.

These warrants don’t expire until 2028! We very much like that. Set some GTC sells every 90 days for 10x, and we’re golden!

  3. NWPX - $27.22/share, options trade monthly. We predict the price will slip a bit further before coming back to hit the $35-40 mark.

he SPP segment manufactures large-diameter, high-pressure steel pipeline systems for use in water infrastructure applications, which are primarily related to drinking water systems.

^ That is all we need to know. We wouldn’t be surprised to see a dividend in the future, but no official word on that yet (we’re just speculating).

  4. PZG - $0.33/share. Speaking of speculation! Here’s some copy/paste good news from TD Ameritrade (they also copy/pasted the news from another source).

Paramount Gold Nevada Corp. is engaged in the business of acquiring, exploring and developing precious metals projects in the United States of America.

WINNEMUCCA, Nev., Oct. 05, 2023 (GLOBE NEWSWIRE) -- Paramount Gold Nevada Corp. (NYSE American: PZG) ("Paramount" or the "Company") is pleased to announce that the State of Oregon's Technical Review Team ("TRT"), which is comprised of the agencies involved in the Chemical Process Mining program has determined that Paramount's Consolidated Permit Application ("CPA") for its Grassy Mountain Project is complete. State agencies are now expected to start permit writing for the high-grade Grassy Mountain gold and silver mine. The decision was unanimously approved by the TRT at a public meeting on October 4, 2023.

With the completeness determination by the TRT, the next step is for The Oregon Department of Geology and Mineral Industries (the "DOGAMI"), the facilitating agency of the TRT, to issue the Notice to Proceed (the "Notice"). The DOGAMI expects to issue final consolidated permits for the Grassy Mountain Mine one year from the issuance of the Notice in concurrence with State laws.

Paramount President, COO and Director, Glen Van Treek commented: "Since the acquisition of Grassy, this is the green light we have been working towards which signals the state's willingness for us to proceed with building and operating the Grassy Mountain mine

  5. RICK - $52.56, options trade monthly, and they just started paying a quarterly dividend at the end of 2022, for a yield of 0.45%.

We feel that this share price is going to continue trending in a downward direction. Sex sells, but there’s a lot of people selling it.

(This company is in the business of strip clubs and sports bars primarily). We’re thinking of a LEAP, with writing ATM or just slightly OTM calls.
