Priorities

It is essential to prioritize appropriately if we ever expect to get anything accomplished.

Ultimately the largest issue is going to be time. Even if you never die or become infirm, the day and seasons still cycle unabated by your immortality and/or impatience. Even during the lockdowns as a result of the CCP virus, there still wasn’t enough time in every day to get through all the things I calculated are possible. It just doesn’t happen.

Eventually it becomes less of a question of “What needs to be done?” versus, “What can wait to get done?”.

This helps me stick to my routine. My dailies aren’t particularly useful on their own, but it allows me to better tolerate the rest of the day that I have only varying degrees of control over. Plus, I get small bonuses. Nothing earth-shattering.

My day starts off with doing a Cointiply roll on both phone. Then I do Pipeflare and finish AFK Arena if I didn’t last night. Sometimes other stuff happens during/in-between these things, like drying last night’s clothes.

Prioritizing my routine makes it easier. Not when I go to milk the clock, but later at night. At night when I want to do a bunch of stuff for different things, and there’s literally not enough time for it all.

My saving grace here is that last year I set goals for 2021. One of them I should manage to reach, it’s just more of a crunch since I neglected it over the summer.

So instead of working on Rockydennis Presents, I’m going to go play LotRO.
