Mixed Reaction

First time ever watching this, and the voices sound so much like the Boondocks characters.

Yet, after thoroughly…”thoroughly”…searching through Wikipedia, I couldn’t find any voice actor that featured in both shows. Hm, maybe I should check and see if Thugnificent’s crew is in both….Nope. Uncle Ruckus isn’t either.

I notice the animation style is pretty similar. That got me thinking, maybe both shows are recorded in the same studio or with the same equipment in similar environments. Like maybe the outputted sound is constructed based more on the tone of the original input, so any black man with a medium-deep voice would sound like sort-of-John Witherspoon but not really… idk.
