Rocky’s Weekly Investment Update

When this round of lockdown started, I was ready for it. However, in my mind, I would be moving assets over to Webull and daytrading like a real pro (scalping all day). And to some extent I didn’t expect the reality to differ -too- much from that. But I got lost in Crypto.

I didn’t totally forget about my portfolio over the last weekend, though. I did squeeze extra dollars out of collateralized assets just because I could, and I added a few shares of random stocks just so I could have more days to get a dividend payment. I forgot how addictive dividends are.

I did fail to recover Sysco stock, SYY. I grabbed a few stray Riot. I think I’m done taking long shots, even though it seems super affordable when you have money that you created out of thin air. Otherwise just trying to be patient, and ride out this round of under employment.

Now in the Crypto world, I feel like Link finding a Triforce. Actually, that’d be more like getting some Bitcoin Gold in my Bitcoin Gold wallet that I could then transfer to a ledger solely for the purpose of bragging rights. Someone had told me that BTG was nearly unobtainable nowadays, and they might be right. But I am in the process of farming some, so maybe we’ll hit that goal later than sooner.

Ladies and Gentlemen, the countless hours of clicking ads and levelling up faucet accounts and giving every website with a form box my SSN and bank info, I finally have accumulated enough BFG (it was the best in Doom and it’s the best in crypto) to qualify for passive income, and ladies and gentlemen had I not bought some Tron outright I can still get it reliably on the daily.

What does this mean? It means that I am 10% of the way to $10/day passive income. Actually maybe not, I think the Yellow BFG tokens are weighted more heavily since they are 90% Bitcoin. Either way, I’ve got the passive gains unlocked and have the dice game on autopilot.

I really want to buy some ice cream or coffee in real life with my Tron, but I don’t think there’s a whole lot of retailers in Brighton, MI taking digital currency. Or if they are, it’d be BTC or maybe Ethereum. Now when I can go to Starbucks and get a cup of coffee paid for with some Doge… well, a boy can dream.

Oh and the CryptoTab browser is actually a nice browser. I had to use it for a little bit for some site that didn’t like Opera and thought that I’d actually use Chrome or Firefox (RIP oldschool Mozilla). Use my link if you want to give it a go. Build a referral network while you’re at it (Actually a really solid way to farm passive satoshi).
