China is Trash

See this content in the original post

Well this article went from short to shorter in a big hurry.

Lost the entire thing without saving. It was about how China is trash.

Not only do they continue genocide in a way that makes Hitler look like Jesus, harass neighbors with their warships and fighter jets (Indonesia has enough of a problem with their smoking pandemic), overfish other countries’ territorial waters, and kill people with ridiculously bad knockoff products (baby formula, anyone?)…they also are wallowing in their own filth.

Literally.

I personally don’t place any special value on human babies over adults…or on human life in general. I even joined the Regressive Party (Against abortion, For killing babies). But this is just…this is just wrong no matter who you are. Except, apparently in China, where this is perfectly normal.

Trash sorting and recycling are like any typical job with Chinese characteristics.

Okay so how it used to work (China doesn’t buy our recycling anymore). America would sell its recycling to China, because recycling is inherently cost-inhibitive. We’re starting to burn more of it now so we can harness the power of oil but with a human-made product so it’s not fossil fuel. It’s supercharged biodiesel.

Anyway, what was China doing that was worth buying our plastic bottles? Mostly they just ship them to the United States. If it can be scanned for deposit, it’ll get sent to Michigan to be ran through the bottle returns again. Idk if the newer bottle returns can recognize duplicate scans, but it’s a moot point anyway.

The non-refundable stuff would just get recycled, burned, etc just like in the US. It’s actually slightly profitable in China, due to an overabundance of supply combined with slave labor.

The sheer volume of bottles necessary to be able to wade through is staggering. Bottles don’t stack well, so they just spread out like water. In a recycling plant, only in 2 situations would you ever be able to wade through a sea of bottles. A). A bale breaks on top of you B).Being in a semi trailer filled with bottles.

Seriously?

This looks benign, until you zoom out.

I don’t know what that colorful area is. I imagine it’s a massive swath of lead paints. Oh, it’s like a play area for kids. So yeah, tons of lead paint.

The garbage overflow threatens the continued operation of the Three Gorges Dam.

The only thing more drastically damaging and permanently altering to natural waterways and ecosystems downstream than diverting waters and building a massive dam, is having that dam fail to continue functioning.

The kitchen of an authentic Chinese restaurant.

You’re looking at used cooking oil and sewage. How do you harvest such a bounty, you may ask? Grease traps. Not the black fryer oil containers behind restaurants. The grease traps connected to restaurant exit water. If you’ve ever opened one of these, particularly in a place where people managed to shove all kinds of shit down the drain….yeah. Now imagine that trap isn’t at the end of the sink exit….it’s at the building exit. (Used cooking oil goes down the drain).

Yep.

Not sure wtf he’s smiling about. This is vile.

I’m very pro-Industry. I’m also very pro-water. Did you know that scientists have discovered that humans are able to use water to live? Incredible.

If this was your backyard, what would you do? Because it’s someone’s backyard. And they’ve decided it’s fine.

Does this look fine?

I couldn’t figure out wtf this was because the colors aren’t usual. The 3 white fish are dead on what used to be a lakeshore, filled with what used to be water.

When you drink the water in China, you turn into Pumpkinhead.
